Agenda

This course will provide a comprehensive overview of videonystagmography (VNG) and other uses of VNG, e.g. to record vibration-induced nystagmus (VIN). We will explore the fundamentals of both peripheral and central vestibular systems and what VNG testing can show about how well both are functioning. The course will cover: how to use, setup and calibrate VNG goggles, subtests within the VNG test battery, how interpret the test results and their role within the vestibular test battery. This course will be useful to those who are new to VNG testing, as well as those with more experience with the technique. VNG Goggles and Interacoustics VisualEyes software will be provided for all practical sessions.
